How would you recommend I help LO with his frustration about being physically limited? He seems to get really mad that he can't do things yet like crawl. He also seems bored with some of his toys. Any recommendations for new stuff?

Well, I was gonna recommend taking your LO in a carrier to explore new surroundings.  Then I realized you were in WI!  When mine gets bored, I do that.  Even just taking them 'round the house and exploring new objects, the mirror, flowers, etc.  Maybe try to sit him facing you on your lap or chest and just talk to him or sing.  HTH.
