Which week did you go on your hospital tour?

When you call my hospital to set up your hospital tour, they give you a date. They don't even give you a choice of dates. So on my tour last night, there was another March 22 mom, a March 21, and two March 24.  So everyone was right around 36 weeks. This couple showed up late and the woman mentioned her mid-April due date and then she teased me that we were "waiting until the last minute." I tried to explain to her that she was the abnormal one, but I don't think my point got across. Later a woman comes out with forms and says, "Everyone here is due the week of March 20-27th, right?" And then Ms. Uppity Mid April EDD turns to me and says, "Oh, so I guess I AM early! hehe."

Anyways, I guess I'm just wondering when everyone else's hospital tour was/will be?

We went at 34 weeks, but it was set up through our birthing class, so I really didn't have a choice in when we went.

oooh hmm haha i am going REALLY early then. we are going this sunday at exactly 32 wks! woops. i hope i don't feel silly being there :-p.

ours will be week 38 -- a bit late, due to a snowstorm causing a reschedule

We actually had ours last week. It was part of a 5 week course that we signed up for. Everyone is our group had due dates in April.

I'm going on the 19th of March, I'll be 34 weeks by then..

Mine is on Sunday.  We can decide when to go, but they recommend at least being in the 3rd trimester.  You don't even have to sign up, you can simply show up.  I did not want to do it too early, but I don't want to do it too late either and risk not being able to go.

We went a few weeks ago. I was 30 weeks and a few days. It was suggested to be by my OB at my 28 week appointment that we go ahead and set that up asap. I don't think that there is a "right" or "wrong" time to go.

We did an informal tour when I was actually about 10 weeks I think! It was individual so no other pg ladies there. I told them I needed to find an OB and the hospital I delivered at was important to me so I wanted to check it out first. I did one as part of our childbirth class last weekend at 30 weeks.

I guess I'm the earliest, I went around 23-24wks. My doctor's office hands out a timetable of when to take classes/tours and that is when they said I should do it.

I went around 24 weeks because its the OB office is right next to L and D. I have to go back at 37 weeks though to sign all the forms. Personally I thought it was kinda pointless... the nurse showed me the room and then I left. I guess maybe there really isn't anything else to see? I figured they would show me where the babies were, in case of a c-section, where I would go... all that but I guess not?

I was 32 weeks when we took ours - most of the women were due around the same time, give or take a couple of weeks!

With DD ours was through our childbirth class, so there was a pretty wide range of due dates. I think I was right around 33 weeks when we actually went on the hospital tour.

We went at 35 weeks. Our hospital has a tour every monday and wednesday... I just picked a date that had an open slot to register for.

I just did mine yesterday; my OB had sent me down to pre-register. Our local hospital is small and the L&D ward was empty, so they took me up for a tour when I finished the pre-registration paperwork.

With DS we did it about a month before. I don't remember exactly what week. We did not do one this time since it's the same hospital.

Ours is next week so it will be in the 34th week.

I was about 30 weeks, but it was part of our childbirth classes we were attending. Otherwise, you can go anytime at our hospital.

We did ours as part of the childbirth class at 31 weeks.

DH and I took a baby basics class last month and it included a tour at the end of the class. I was only 27 weeks, so we were SUPER early!

I could go whenever I wanted -- They do them twice a month. I went at 25 weeks.

We did ours at 35 weeks, and you didn't have to register, just show up. I wish I would have done it earlier though, walking around for an hour was NOT something I wanted to do...ended up causing massive swelling. I was much more mobile earlier, so I would keep that in mind.

I just went this past weekend, so a little more than 37 weeks.  During the tour the lady kept mentioning other classes that are offered and when is a prime time to take them and all.  Then later on she mentioned that it was probably a little late for some of us to take all the classes since we are so far along and that the tour is really geared toward women in their 1st trimester.  Well my OB didn't mention taking it until mid to late 2nd tri and I don't think I would have remembered a thing if I would have taken it 1st tri.

DH and I went around 33-34 weeks.  Our hospital doesn't make appts, they just ask you to call 30 mins beforehand to make sure they're not super busy.  We didn't want to wait too long in case I went early.  We had to get our preregistration paperwork.
