Success after IF

SIL VENT >:(

No, not about the one with a million kids, its one of the other ones, that is married to DH's brother.

She has always been a huge AW, and is a big two-faced hypocrite. She is loud and obnoxious and if ever something big or important or sad is going on with someone, she is all over like she is their best friend just so she can get part of the attention.

She also never has anything nice to say about anyone else's kids. If something is going well or someone else's kids are getting more attention, she puts them down or gets pissed off, or ignores them completely. She is always stealing people's thunder too.

She does this to me all the time of FB, and those of you who are my FB friends, I know you have seen it.

I posted a video of Maya making huge progress on learning to crawl. She is going from a sitting position to a crawling position and moving her arms forward. She has been working on this for days now, and I was so excited to catch it on video and post it for my friends and family.

She comes on and makes the comment " Never seen a baby learn to crawl starting that way".

It might not look snarky, but if you knew her, it was meant to be a disparaging jab, and I am pissed. I would have rather her just said nothing at all. I am so over it. I hate that I am stuck with these people for the rest of my life.

  • My response would be: Maybe my kid is more creative/resourceful than yours?

Okay that's not nice.  I know the type though. Ugh!!  I guess we have to feel sorry for them because they're clearly lacking something in their life that makes them that way.

Thanks :) She is so proud of herself. Everytime she would roll over or fall, I would sit her back down and as soon as her butt hit the ground, she was back to practicing her newest skill. She would rock a little on her hands and knees, then look up at us with a huge smile on her face.
