I just heard an ad on my Pandora station for vistaprint and their free business card offers...they mentioned "mommy cards"...are these really "business cards" with contact info that moms exchange? Sorry if any of you have done this...but seriously!?!

Life is beautiful!
I just googled and found this: https://www.themommycard.com/
I mean, sure..they are cute, whatever..but so silly...
I feel like digging through my bag to find my stash of mommy cards would take just as long as me typing someone's phone number into my phone...
I think what strikes me as the strangest thing, though, is what all information is included? If I met a stranger that I don't really know yet... I don't really want them knowing my address, you know? and do you put your kids names and ages on there? Since all I'd probably give a prospective mom-friend is my phone number, I'll stick with exchanging phone numbers with my phone.
Because we're fancy like that.
Okay, I have to admit - I love paper products (stationary and whatnot), and reading about when people used to use "calling cards"
so I've been kind of intrigued by these since I first saw them a while back. . . but can I picture myself actually using them?? Um, no!! (Heck, I get uncomfortable handing my business card to people who should actually receive it!)
Whenever I do a craft or trade show, I sell a ton of them!
oddly enough, I never made them for myself
I've done personal "business" cards for years. It just has my email & mobile number on it. You'd be surprised how often I've given them out. I don't enter in phone numbers to people that I'm not sure I'll have a lasting relationship with. I'm just picky that way.
Mommy cards are more or less the same thing and they make sense to me.
I would be uncomfortable to hand a not-so-familiar person a card with my children's photo on it with my contact info or address, though. The only thing I'd put on there is my name/email/phone number. Nothing else.
