Those who DIDN'T get a gender guess at NT Scan

Did any of you have an U/S around 15wks and if so, would your U/S tech/Dr "guess" then?

We had our NT Scan at 13w1d and I asked if they could tell the gender that early and they literally laughed haha and said it was WAY too early. I was also diagnosed with placenta previa and told to come back in 2wks for a follow up U/S.

Well my appt is tomorrow (15w) and I am wondering if they'll give us a "guess" this time around. Before we even knew about the placenta issue we had scheduled an elective U/S for next weekend (16w2d) for gender determination so I suppose it doesn't matter either way, but I didn't know if anyone was in the same boat?

Nope I did the NT scan and don't get another U/S until the anatomy scan on March 22 (20 weeks)

I didn't my office won't even bother looking until you are close to 20 weeks.

I'm in the same boat as all of the other ladies. I didn't get a guess and they aren't seeing me until 20 weeks. I did have a dream that it was a girl last night

This. I had the NT scan and they didn't guess, and then I have my anatomy scan in about 3 weeks and they will try then. Any other ultrasounds would have to be elective somewhere else.

i had one at 14 w5d and the woman looked for me but couldn't tell yet. I have another one next wednesday. I will be 17w5d so I'm going to ask them to look again. If not I'll find out at 20 weeks on 3/18.

We had our NT scan at 12w3d and couldn't see anything of course. I have another appt on Monday at 14w2d and my doc does an ultrasound every time (they have a machine in every room) so maybe she will see something. Otherwise we'll have to wait 4 more weeks.

we went for a 4d u/s last week, and were told boy. i was just past 15wks. they had also told us boy at our u/s at 12wk4d.

No -- we did the NT scan at 12.5 weeks, and our anatomy scan is at 17.5 weeks, this coming Monday.

If they give you a guess at your 15w scan, I'm not sure you would need the elective u/s at 16w?!

I just had my NT on Tuesday at 13 weeks. The tech that did mine wouldn't guess, she said they look too similar to her, but other techs that work there will take a guess.

A friend of mine was told that she was having a boy and they were right, it's just the luck of the draw which tech you get. Oh well, I can wait a little longer, I have my anatomy scan at 18+ weeks on 4/1, I hope to find out then.

No. Last time I had a f/u around 14 weeks but my tech wouldn't take a guess any earlier than 16w.

They guessed girl at my NT Scan and of course the wait has been driving me insane:) I scheduled an elective for tomorrow (will be over 15-my ticker is off) and then my 16 week with my doc is next Friday. So between the two we should both know something soon. Keep us posted! I will do the same!
