We did a 2dt yesterday with 2-4cell and 2-2cells. At my age, my RE's policy is to do a 2dt if you have 4 or less embies since they are going to put them all back on day 3 anyways. They feel that they will do just as well. I looked at some of the research online and sounds like it's a wash with a 2dt or 3dt.. especially if there's not much to choose from.
I haven't heard much discussion about 2dt on here so hoping I can be a success story! Onto the 2WW.....
Re: Anyone here have success with a 2dt?
Not quite the same, I did 4days with both because our quality quickly went down hill, my RE likes to wait until a 5day, but I wanted them back in.
I think they do better in your ute than the dish. Best of luck to you!
I'm going to sound like a broken record here - embies do MUCH better in you than in a petri dish! and it makes me nutty when people get all disappointed with a 3dt. ugh. I think its brilliant to put all 4 embies back on day 2. I had 3 embies on day 3 (after only 4 follies) and I could not be happier!
good luck!!! please don't say "it's a wash." you have a great chance at success.

We had a successful 2dt! We only had 2 embies left (1 2celled and 1 4 celled with fragmentation) and we had planned on putting back 2 to begin with. My Dr. believes they do better in the you than a petri dish. It was dissapointing at first but our Dr. was right not to wait and risk having no embies.
Good luck!!
