I occasionally post on the Preschool board and it is DEAD, DEAD, DEAD over there.  I just posted a question an hour ago and it's had all of 8 views and 0 responses.  And two weeks ago I posted something and it's still on the first page!  Is this our fate? are you all going to leave me when you get pregnant again? Are you?!

I have no intentions of getting KU again until Sophie is 4. So, I'll be around unless I find something better to do with my time than bump. As if I could! :P

I didn't even realize there was a preschool board, lol! 

But I would imagine ladies who are done having kids or "one and done' like we may be, will stick around for that board!

About a year after DS was born, I got more into the nest boards (specifically buying a home and D&R because we bought a house) and phased out of the bump.  I came back when we were TTC #2 and am still around.  We don't anticipate buying another house anytime soon , so I may stick around for the long haul.  But, I've already started lurking more and more on D&R again and some on H&F for when I quit bfing and get serious about this baby weight loss!

I think it's because there was a mass exodus of people with kids that were 2 years old about a year ago.  It made the 12-24, 24+ and Preschool boards die almost immediately.    The 12-24 board is already picking back up though.  It's unlikely that 200-300 people will all leave at once again, so I'm sure that the other boards will eventually start moving as well.

This is why I like BOTB so much.  There are ladies there in every stage of TTC/pregnancy/parenthood.  I've also started trying to post more on the Parenting board.  I'll probably still be on TB when I'm 40, LOL.

I think that's because TB is a relatively new site. Sure there are some members with older children, but most do not. As people who started out here's children grow up, the board will self-populate.

Not really. I'be been around entirely too long, I know, but there was a baby board back when only the Knot existed. Then all married people and those with bqbies got bumped to the Nest, and then we got bumped here--yes it has probably been only two yeqrs since they created TB, but us old people have been around for a LONG time. Most just left last year though.

What else? Drama on top of drama, followed by lifetime bannings (in some cases unwarranted) of popular posters, resulting in the creation of a new board that is close to 400 people strong now.
