My sister in law just sent me this. I'm new to the board, so I wasn't sure if something like this had been shared yet.
So the best paper towels to use are Viva according to my sister in law, but Bounty works too.
Get a 10 quart capacity rubbermaid container with a lid
(one that looks like a half roll of paper towels will fit in nicely, so taller and ...cylindrical)
and mix 1 3/4 C. warm water, 2 T. baby oil, 1 T. baby shampoo (or body wash)
Cut
the paper towel roll in half- pull out the cardboard center (it comes
out easy after the whole thing soaks for a minute or two)
And
ta-daa! Center pull homemade baby wipes, wicked cheap, and my sister
Libby has used them for both her kids, she says it works great.
You can do variations on it too:
Instead
of baby oil, use 1 T. coconut oil (you can get the food grade stuff,
its hard but melts pretty fast) 1 T. vitamin E oil and a couple drops of
tea tree for diaper rash.
