DD only gets a bottle at night, and when she goes down for her 1 nap.
I'm trying to get rid of the nap bottle. We've tried replacing it with a
sippy cup, but she wants nothing to do with it (she does take a sippy
the rest of the day). She's been crying hysterically for 20 minutes,
with my going in and out every so often. I know if I just gave her a
bottle she'd go to sleep and take a nap....we've been fighting this all
day and she still hasn't had a nap.
HELP!
Oh, we did try
to wean the bottle, decreasing the amount over time, but that didn't
work either. We're now just trying it cold turkey.

Re: Bottle weaning: HELP!
Does she have a lovey?
My only other advice is to help her over the hump.
When we faced things like this our answer was either modified CIO or to lay next to his crib with my hands thru the slats rubbing his back until he fell asleep.
Sorry.
I know this kind of thing can be tough.
Ours came off the bottle super easy but I was anticipating what you're experiencing.
