Does anyone have a climbing/slide/playhouse type thing in their yard for their toddlers? I'd like to get one for Charlie and Lily as soon as the weather warms up so I'm looking for recommendations. We don't have a ton of space, so I need something kind of compact. Thanks

Re: Outdoor play structures for toddlers?
we do. We have a slide/swing (it's the castle looking thing, I think by Step 2), A playhouse, and a sandbox/water table.
Look on craigslist. I got 2 of the 3 on there for a steal, the playhouse was $150 at TRU and I got it (assembled!!) for $35 on craigslist.
We have this, it's an older version, got it on CL for $300 last October. It's the perfect size for Mark to play on by himself but he'll still be happy playing on it for a little while before he out grows it. It still looks new even though I believe it's several years old and they hold their value well so you could likely get mot of your money back out of it one day.

Another vote for both Craigslist AND Step 2.
No way I'd ever pay retail for one of those things. Mine were in a regular play scape by age 2 - 2.5. If you're going to sink some cash into something wait until you're buying the set they'll be using for the next 8 years or so.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
I don' t know if you remember what mine looks like but it has two swings and two slides (one is a bigger slide another is small).
