We Have Been Ready!!!

Just got back from my pap... 

So, DH and I have been married for 3 years. We have been off BC since a month after we got married because we knew for sure that we were ready for a baby. I was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 years ago, but was not put on anything as my Gyno only suggested BC, which we were not interested in as we were TTC! 

My big issue is the fact that every Dr. I see has to put their 2 cents in about me being too young to be thinking about having kids! I respect their opinions, but they do not know DH and I personally and do not know if we are ready or not! We are both prepared for the responsibility of children and I have honestly never wanted anything more than to be a mother.

But, whatever...I guess people will always have their opinions, I just thought that Drs. were supposed to keep it professional and their opinions to themselves.

My doc likes to tell me that I'm still young too, but I'm 33, which is fine if I only want one child/pregnancy, but we want several children. If I can managed to get pg anytime soon, I'll be AMA by the time I have #2. How old are you???

I would be really mad if a doctor tried to tell me I was too young and not to worry. I doubt that you were asking for their opinions! Um, hello, I'm asking you to help me get pg - not give me your opinion idiot. I would probably look for a different doctor if you feel like yours is not doing everything for you because of your age.

There's a specific nurse that makes comments about my age everytime I see her. I'm 24! She's also made other rude comments. It upsets me as well so I think I know how you feel. The last time I was there I requested not to have her. Try not to let it get to you. Only you know if you are ready or not!
