DH is trying to get Nicholas to say "Da Da" or Daddy

Sooo funny!   For me at least.   Nicholas will say Mom or Mama all day long.   He and I do this little thing where he says "Mama!"  I say "Nicholas!".  He says "Mom!".   I say "Nick Nack (my little nickname for him)".  And we go back and forth.  N thinks it's hilarious.

DH will say "Dada!"   trying to get him to say it.   But all N will is point to me and say "Mama!".   DH will say "No.  I'm Dada.

So tonight I said to DH,  "well you're off work for the next 4 days and I won't be home all day (got called into work for someone this whole week), so now's your chance for some "Da Da 101".

Re: DH is trying to get Nicholas to say "Da Da" or Daddy

  • LOL! Hayden said Mama for months before he said Da Da. He then moved to Mommy and Daddy but Mommy came first. Sometimes he looks at DH and says "Mommy" and he will say "No I am Daddy" then he will say "Daddy". Lets hope that your DH's Daddy 101 will help. DH got a taste of what it was like to hear Mama all the time once he learned DaDa because he said it ALL THE TIME!!
