Beta hell/ ? etopic

Hey ladies, if you have any experiences in this area I would love any feedback.  A little back ground first.  I have mild endo and am currently TTC #2.  We just did an IUI with injectibles.  First Beta 117.  Second Beta 117... So they retested the specimen 114.  Today's Beta 180?  WTF?  The nurse said they want to keep a close eye on me.  Retest on Wednesday.  Call them with any pain, bleeding.  If severe pain go to ER.  Had a repeat HSG before we did this IUI.  It was clear.  She said there is still a chance this could be a viable pregnancy that my progesterone is still good

We had a vanishing twin with my first pregnancy but my intial beta than was 600s and the second one was 1000s.  Not sure what to think.  I do have an ever so slight pressure on my left side but I always get this, I think due to the endo.  I have noticed that it is coming and going more frequently but this could also be because I am analyzing EVERYTHING.  I am scared of the etopic but at the same time hopeful that maybe this could work.  Is it possiable to have an etopic when my tubes where clear and no problem before?  Do your betas have to be higher to worry about a tube rupture?  Again any input would be great.  Thanks again!

Sorry you are in beta hell. I was there from mid-December until about 3 weeks ago. No fun at all. I had an ectopic plus vanishing twin when I was pg with DD. It was right after a clear HSG. Had surgery at 6 weeks pg. TTC#2 in December turned out to be ectopic. My numbers were much lower than yours, starting off at 17 and going as high as 180's. It wasn't visible on U/S until after 6 weeks. Since my ectopic when pg with DD resolved itself (was gone by the time they did surgery 11 hours after u/s) my re wanted to wait this one out. They had me go every three days for blood work until hcg was less than 2 and weekly for u/s until it was no longer visible. It did resolve on it's own. I suspect mine is due to clomid puffing me up and puffing my tubes making them too narrow, but who knows. Next cycle re is switching me to injectibles. They think it's unlikely clomid is the cause, but it is in the warnings and luckily they're not ignoring my instincts. I swell from other meds too so I think it's very likely. Hopefully your numbers will start doubling and you'll be out of beta hell with a baby on the way. Good luck!

I am sorry you are in this situation.  I don't think ectopic, your betas aren't high.  I would guess a chemical pregnancy.  Also possibly something like a vanishing twin?
