Success after IF

passing along a breastfeeding tip

Someone gave me this tip when I was nursing H (maybe someone on this board?) and I'd forgotten about it until now.

I always had a hard time remembering which breast I nursed off of last. I tried writing it down, keeping a memo on my blackberry and all sort of other ways of keeping track, until someone told me to put a safety pin on the side of the bra I used last. Works like a charm. I just switch it when I switch the baby to the second side during a nursing session.

Just thought I'd share.

Re: passing along a breastfeeding tip

  • Thanks for the tip! I know I just finished BF DD a couple months ago, but I feel like I'm going to be starting all over when the new baby comes along. I know it's going to be incredibly different with a newborn, and I'm kind of worried about it (the time it will take away from DD, the pain in the beginning etc.) Sorry to ramble on! Hope you are doing well at home with your new addition! Have any more pictures to share?

  • That's a good one! I always kept a rubber band on my wrist and moved it from one arm to the other.
