Help! He's barely eating...

So DS for the past two days has barely eaten anything all day. Yesterday he woke up at 8, breastfed for 10 minutes, played, had a 2oz bottle at 10, slept from 10:30-2:00, ate 2oz, and didn't eat anything else until 4:30. That's only 8oz or so between the hours of 8-4! And today he breastfed at 6, and since then has only eaten 6oz (it's 1:00 here)

Is this normal?? He used to eat a 4oz bottle every 2.5 hours or so. He doesn't seem sick, and besides teething is a pretty happy baby. Is it possible that he's just not hungry and I'm worrying too much???

Teething can definitely curb an appetite...perhaps that's it...

Could it be an ear infection?  This was happening to both my boys, although they were also exhibiting signs of a cold.  Anyway, other than that they were happy as clams.  I brought them in for their 4 mo checkup, and found they both had ear infections.....

I would say he is not hungry because of the teething. If he is having at least 2 wet diapers a day he is getting enough.  If this continous for more than 3 -5 days I would call the dr.
