I was catching up on the drama on 9-12 and I have some questions.

What are the rules for advertising on here?

Can I link in my siggy, what about other bumpies' siggys?

I see PSA posts all the time. If I don't say that it is my site, can I still post?

Are PMs ok?

 I read the rules, but there seems to be a lot of grey area. Thanks!

I'm not sure, it seems a bit fuzzy but here's the way I look at it... I don't care if a regular on the board posts something as long as they're honest about it and they're not constantly spamming the board. I do however, get really annoyed if some newbie comes on here to advertise. kwim?

I know that Gretchen never advertised on here but when people (like myself) inquired about info on the fitteds in her siggy, she would say email her if we wanted info. That's how I found out about TT and its pretty much advertised on here by word of mouth. I love her product and love to give business to a fellow bumpie.

As far as I know, PMs are fine. And I'm pretty sure that links in siggys to personal blogs that also have store information on the blog are okay too.

do you think it would work if we made a list (like on google docs) of bumpie businesses and if you wanted you could link to that to help spread the word for everyone without directly advertising your own?

Ooooh! I like that idea. Like what the business name is, what they sell and a link to the site. I know personally, I love the idea of supporting fellow Bumpies.

i'd figure it wouldn't be a problem since other people can have links to sites in their siggys just as long as it's not their shop so I don't see what the difference is in have a link to a page with a collection of shops

but that's just me and really what do i know?
