Mine is boring this week with a lot of leftovers. My husband is going out of town for a few days and I refuse to cook too much for just the "two" of us

do you have a quick recipe for the crockpot chicken and dumplings? i was wanting to do something in the crockpot for dinner tonight. thanks!
* 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves cut into bit sized pieces
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
* 1 packet of onion soup mix
* 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces
* salt & pepper to taste
* garlic powder to taste
1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, onion mix & seasonings in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.
2. Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. About 45 minutes before
serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the
dough is no longer raw in the center.
This recipe calls for 2 packages of biscuit dough but I've done it and it's just too much.So I just use one instead.

This week we are having:
Left over crock pot chicken tacos, I think I'll make them into enchiladas.
Pasta bake (kinda like lasagna, but with ziti noodles) with a salad
Pecan chicken with assparagus
Corn and potato chowder
The Pasta and the chowder will last multiple nights each.
M-BBQ pulled pork sandwiches (w/ extra pickles!!!) and fries
T- Meatloaf and corn casserole
W- Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches with tomato soup

Sun - Stir-fried bok choy, snap peas, red peppers & soba noodles w/spicy peanut sauce (made it up ... need to give it a shorter name!)
Mon - Caraway beef stew, egg noodle casserole & roasted beet salad
Tue - Pick your own leftovers
Wed - Roasted red pepper, tomato & coconut soup w/crusty bread and salad
Thur - Probably leftovers again, eating alone
Fri - Probably leftovers again, eating alone
Sat - Date night, dinner out!
Obviously, I have no qualms about leftovers. And these are all pretty generous recipes.
