Speaking of plans for the week, I will need support

I have yet to spend a night away from Abby ... this weekend I will be spending three away from her.

We have just come out of a nursing strike, which makes me nervous, but at least we aren't still in the throes of a nursing strike. 

I will need plenty of encouragement Thursday through Sunday!

Best wishes - in advance.  Keep us posted on how it's going.  Hopefully your husband will be sending you lots of pix.  Is he nervous too?  I know mine would be.

Yes, but he also has a road trip for work.

So she will spend one night at home with DH, one night at his brother's, then the third night at home (my parents are picking her up and taking her to our house until DH gets home).

Sigh.

Starbucks should help, lol. I have left DD for one night and it was hard. Although I was so busy while I was gone that I missed her, but hardly had time to realize it, if that makes sense. GL to you! Just think how happy you'll be when you get home. One of my good friends (a Mom of 2) told me, "Just know that you miss her more than she misses you." I guess it is true but doesn't make it any easier.

I totally understand, I still feel like I have to double check everything and over-inform my Mom when I drop DD off to her when I work. So I can imagine what you'll feel this week. At least your DH will be with her some too! Good luck
