If I pump several ounces over the next couple days, can I just keep adding to a container in the fridge and then when I have enough to fill a storage bag, freeze it then? Or if I'm planning on freezing, do I need to do it immediately?
I have done this in the past and had no problems! I pumped and after each session added it directly to the pitcher...I have heard that your should cool newley pumped before adding it but I didn't b/c I hated losing the milk that clings to the sides of cold containers (hope that makes sense!) Also it is my understanding that milk can be refridgerated for 7 days before it needs to be frozen and if you combine milk from different days just label it with the later date. HTH...my biggest issue was figuring out a system that worked for me.

Re: BM storage question
i think you are supposed to do it that same day. check kellymom.com
oh, and i don't think you are supposed to add warm milk to cold milk. again check kellymom.com
I have a pitcher that I put all my milk in and at the end of the day, I freeze it. (and I'll admit, sometimes I only do it every 2 days).
You can wait a few days to freeze it. Thats fine. I just don't think you're supposed to mix milk from today w/milk from Friday or whatever.
