Spitting out pain meds... WWYD?

Nolan is on Tylenol with Codeine, and he spit out his dose. He is pretty miserable from surgery this AM, and awfully cranky. We are pretty sure MOST of the dose ended up on us and his shirt, so , what would you do. repeat the dose, or wait until his next one in 4 hours?

I have always been told that even when they spit it out you get more in than you think you do, so if I were to re-dose I would only do 1/2. I think if you wait 4 more hours he is going to be in to much pain.

I'd give an extra 1/2 dose.

I agree with 1/2 dose but also, squeeze his cheeks like fish lips and shove the plunger into the back pocket of his mouth and have something tastey to drink RIGHT there so like "squeeze, squirt, drop plunger and shove said drink into his mouth".
