Whats everyone doing for dinner on this Friday night?? I am thinking about making some chili and corn bread... It's a gloomy rain day here in northern California;) comfort food sounds great!

Oh chili sounds great! We are having Pizza casserole. It is a freezer meal I got in my monthy meal swap.

YUM!  This is DH's favorite cereal, he'll eat the ENTIRE BOX in one sitting so its on his list of "not allowed" foods in our house.  HA!

 

Whole Foods was having a killer sale on whole chickens so I bought one to roast for DH (meat still doesn't work for me), and I think I'll do a nice caprese salad and parmesan rainbow chard for sides.

The girls have a cheerleading clinic, so they will be enjoying a delicious Lunchable there! So DH and I are taking step son out to eat, so he can do something special as well! We never go out to eat! I want mexican! Hope the little guy wants it to! I don't want to go to McDonalds! haha!

DH made steak tonight in a great marinade with some spinach....and added some mac & cheese as a great comfort food for me.  yay.  

now we are going downtown for mango smoothies at a local cafe & to play dominoes.  great date night.
