Success after IF

So hate to complain, but I am getting uncomfortable.

I really don't remember this when I was pg with Nicholas.  When I am sitting, it feels like baby is pushing everything up- like my organs.  And there are places where my belly feels hard and I get crampy (feels like I have to poo).   Not sure if these are Braxton Hicks (or however you spell it) or just my belly stretching.  I never had any BH with Nicholas.

I just am starting to get very uncomfortable.   I really hate to complain, and am very greatful for her but man she hurts sometimes.

Re: So hate to complain, but I am getting uncomfortable.

  • From a 39 week 2nd timer let me tell you - this time has been COMPLETELY different. They likely ARE Braxton Hicks contractions - VERY VERY VERY common to be much more long lasting and intense the 2nd time around. Its also a common complaint that the baby is shoving everything up because they have more room in there (because we're so lovely and streched out for them! HA!).

I've been having REAL, PAINFUL, timeable, long lasting contractions for WEEKS and then they just go away.

This time is def very different! Hang in there mama!

  • oh lady, i sooooo know how you feel...complain away! my last 2 months with A i was SO uncomfortable...she sat really low, so was pushing on every vein for my lower body it felt like, haha, and my bladder. i hardly slept because of my hip pain, and i cried pretty much every day because i was so uncomfortable.

i think the reason it was so much more than the discomfort with the boys is because (well, besides the fact that i only went to 30 weeks with them) i was on my feet all day, and bending, and playing and lifting..whereas when i was pg with the boys, i rested a ton..

i would say take it easy...but i know its tough, but try ;)

  • Hugs-- it was much harder for me the second time around too, especially near the end. Add in the fact that you're chasing a toddler around, too, and it is not easy. Having two little ones is hard, but it is sure nice to be able to bend over and pick things up again once that baby is out!
