When are you going on a babymoon?

My husband wants us to take a trip before it gets too late for me to be allowed to travel. I am just now getting into my 13th week so I think I still have time to go, but I am not sure how much time. So I was wondering if any of you ladies will be going on your babymoon?

We aren't doing a babymoon since we have a big family wedding in CA in May, but I'll be flying from the east coast and back when I'm 29 weeks.

We are going to try to take a vacation in April during my spring break.  DH only gets 10 vacation days and we have used 2 already and I know that he wants to take a week off when the baby comes so it will probably only be for 4-5 days.

Our "babymoons" are actually conferences that DH is going to, but we built trips around them. He ends up only being busy for one 1 or 2 days so it's all good (plus his flight and out hotel get covered by his dept, whooop!). 

So we are going to Florida when I'm at week 23 for 5 nights, and then at week 27 we are going to the UK and Portugual.

I think anytime in the 2nd trimester is perfect for a babymoon!

I will be entering week 13 this Sunday (yeah!), and my hubby and I are going on our babymoon the end of week 19-beginning of week 20.  We decided to rent a posh little cottage in the mountains and treat ourselves to nature, hiking, and a couples massage :-)  We are so excited!!  Good luck planning your trip!!

We are going to Niagara Falls for 4 nights in May. I will be 29 weeks. We wanted to do some traveling after we got married before having a baby, and this is the last destination on our list!

We are pretty limited on when we can do anything, b/c H starts clinic next month (optometry school) and they are really strict on taking time off--it includes the summer. So, we are going to FL for spring break (I'm from Tampa) and my parents have offered to keep DS while we stay at a beach house in Ft. Pierce for 5 nights--I can't wait! Only 4 more weeks!

We're not going far, about 2hrs west to San Antonio, and extending the Memorial Day weekend. Seemed like the best option since we don't really have time to take a full-blown vacation and anywhere else I'd want to go is only fun a) with alcohol, b) if you can ride rollercoasters.

So we're going to just take a few days and take it easy.We decided after our honeymoon last September that this year's vacation would be scaled way down, but our intinerary is juuust the right mix of fun and laziness! I'm looking forward to it.

(For the record, if I called it a "babymoon" DH would give me some serious side-eye. It's just our annual vacation. lol)

We are going to Niagara Falls next weekend for our 3 year wedding anniversary. Then heading to Vegas mid-March with friends. We have a few family oriented trips in April and June.

We aren't going on a babymoon. We went to Vegas in the Fall before we started ttc, so that was our last pre-baby trip. However, I did just get emailed a promotion for 5 nights at an All-inclusive resort in Cozumel for only $727, so I am very tempted....

But, I am planning to save all my vacation to add to our 8 weeks of paid maternity so that I can stay home all 12 weeks paid. I only have 4 weeks of vacation, so that means no vacation days to use until the baby arrives

We actually just got back from south FL this week, and spent 5 days there. It was extremely nice to get out of the cold weather!

We went to Italy.  We didn't realize it'd be a babymoon (I wasn't pregnant when we booked it), but it worked out that way.  DH is also saving his vacation days for after the baby comes, so we'll likely do long weekends somewhere when he has the extra days off.

We're going to Arizona in two weeks for a 5 day trip with my family. This will most likely be our "babymoon" unless we go somewhere closer for a long weekend in a few months. I don't get paid maternity leave and my husband only has 10 vacation days this year. So, we can't afford to take time off.

We're heading down to the Caribbean next month when I'll be 18 weeks.  My doctor said that's a great time to go and that I'll (hopefully!) be feeling awesome then.  Can't wait!

it's not really a babymoon since we go every year, and we're taking ds, but we're going to maui next month. i'll be about 20wks. i flew up until 35wks last pregnancy (which most doctors ok, as long as you're not high risk).

second tri is a great time to travel though --- you're usually still comfortable and not huge yet, and most people have their energy back.

We just went on a cruise in October and called it our "babymoon" because we started TTC on the cruise.  We will, however, be taking another one before the baby gets here.  We're big into vacations and usually do 1 big trip and 2-4 small trips a year.  I am trying to book a 5 night cruise sometime between the end of March to the first week of May since I can't sail after May 11th.

We just got back from ours in Kauai! It was fun but we invited friends and it made it a little stressful. So we may re-do our babymoon with just the two of us to a cabin or something this spring. Even camping would be nice! I miss the warmer weather

We are going to the bahamas on March 27th. I can't wait to go. We are only going for 5 days but it should be a lot of fun.

We are going  up to Philly for a week to visit my aunt.  Ahe will be the only one not able to see me fully pregnant so we thought it would be fun.  Shopping and close enough to Atlantic City for DH to get in a little gambling.  I will be almost 17 weeks.

this is tricky for me. i am having my shower in may since it is out of state. may is likely when we owuld've baby-mooned. it is already hot here and i dont fare well in the heat so i am thinking my options will be severely limited. we wanted to go to oklahoma or louisiana so i dont expect a break from the heat.

We went to Mexico last summer, so we can't afford to do anything big this year.  We're taking a long weekend to St. Louis over Memorial Day for a friend's wedding, and we'll probably try to spend a weekend at a nearby B&B sometime this summer.

I'll be 14w when we go on our cruise. It's been planned for a while though, but I have no problem considering this our baby moon

We have a wedding in DC (live in CT) in mid March and then the next week we are going to Vegas (not exotic, but DH is too nervous to leave the country even though, knock on wood, so far, nothing is abnormal about this pregnancy).  I'm a teacehr, so we had to work with our spring break in March, which is fine because I will be about 20 wks.

It's not really a babymoon - we had it planned before I got pregnant. So it's an anniversary trip but we are going to the Bahamas next week! Very excited. I'm hoping to still get a night or two away later on but we'll see.
