I've been supplementing for a while and have not had to buy any formula because I had so many free samples. DD is about to switch to 100% formula and wonder the best place to buy.
I used to get it at Walmart, assuming that my local grocery store would be more expensive. Then I wandered into the formula aisle one day and was shocked to see that it was actually almost $2 cheaper at the grocery!

Usually Walmart (DD takes Similac Advance RTF). I have ordered from Diapers.com and Amazon.com, but DH yells at me (they get delivered to his office and complains about having to lug them to the car).

I was also shocked to see our grocery store (Giant) sells our formula (Enfacare for Preemies) for $2 less a can than other places. It is over $15 at Target and Walmart and $13.49 at our grocery store. I just switched to 100% formula 2 weeks ago.

That's practically unheard of!
My grocery store and Wal-Mart are exactly the same price.
OP, I used to get Similac Sensitive at Sam's Club. It was $28, and the tub would last about 2 weeks. They stopped selling Sensitive Stomach, so now I get the biggest plastic container they have at Wal-Mart (or the grocery store) and it's $21.

We use target brand formula...it's SO much cheaper than enfamil (we were using enfamil premium).
