My other half is Colombian, and we have decided on a spanish name to value the culture that the baby will probably not grow up in... We are not finding out if it's a boy or girl and if it's a girl we will name it after his grandmother, but if it's a boy... I'm screwed because I only have two names that I like!
Does anyone have more latino boy name suggestions? I'm not a huge fan of SUPER popular names like Juan, Pedro, Carlos... you get the idea, and my husbands name is Alejandro, and I don't wan't an Alejandro Junior, in fear that we will call him AJ which I dislike.
The ones I like are: Rafael and Sebasti?n
Re: names in español... HELP!
Love Sebastian!!! But only pronounced like it is in Spanish, which DH would never go for cuz he's a guero.
My other favorite is Mateo. And of course we named DS Nicolas.
My fav is Joaquin but I do like Diego too.
I love Rafael!
Some other ideas:
Armando, Angel, Salvador, Benicio, Cesar, Tomas, Eduardo, Emilio, Saul, Javier, Valentino, Mateo, Joaquin, Marcelo
Love both Rafael and Sebasti?n!
Does your husband dislike those names? They're both great.
If you're looking for more options, I like Emilio, Antonio, and Victor.

I love Sebastian! (Sorry, I don't know how to do accent marks.) Other Spanish names that I like are:
Armando, Guillermo, Federico, Gabriel, Felipe, Ignacio, Leandro...I could come up with more, I'm sure!
Cole Joseph 7/05/07
Nora Anne 11/03/12
9lbs, 6oz
I love how Guillermo rolls off the tongue. It just sounds so neat. (if it is Spanish, I think it is, but not 100% exactly sure).
My DH is Latino - so we've gone round and round about the 'style' of name we would want for a child.
fwiw, his name is Enrique - but has gone by Henry his entire life (apparently english translation). His mom some times calls him Ki-que (no idea how to spell... sounds like "key-keh"

Another vote for Leonardo... I think Leo as a nn for a little boy is so cute!
Rafael and Sebastian are awesome names! I especially love Rafael; I've always thought it to be a very strong name with a wonderful sound.

Some of my other favourites:
Juli?n, Jaime, ?lvaro, Javier (I love Javi, I think it's adorable), Gonzalo (Gonza), Feliciano (this is pretty dated, though, but I still like it). I feel like my Spanish list is a lot longer but don't have it (the list) on me.
