Went to a Pyschic/Medium last night...

So I went to a psychic/medium at my SO's sisters house.  With my mom and and aunt (they were read for the first time).  I was previously read by this lady about a year ago and knows that she is truly phenomenal.  However I am still waiting to have my U/S to find out gender.  She told both my mom and my aunt a girl, she told my MIL boy and then she told me boy right away but then said if its a girl it will be a very strong willed girl (which would come to no surprise).  Eeeekkkkk now I really can't wait to find out.  But the good news is she sees the baby as very healthy and my grandmother is watching over us and thinks I am going to be a terrific mommy.  She also sees an engagement ring soon.  I hope she's right!  Long story short it was a great girls night and my family and SO's family mesh so well.  Smile

    Well, you actually saw a Medium, not a Median. The fact that she couldn't tell you a straight answer means you paid her for nothing. I hope it was fun to be fooled out of your money.

    Thanks for correcting me on the median to medium.  I have fixed my post.  And she totally hit a bunch of other points for myself as well as everyone else that saw her.  Definitely not a waste of money at all!  But thanks for the negative energy so early on a Friday! Smile

    I've had my animals read by a Animal Communicator and she was awesome!  She was so accurate with everything, it was crazy!  I think there are people that truly are gifted.  I'm glad you had a good girls night!

    Aww that sounds like a really fun girls night!! Even if they can't tell you everything it's fun to see what they come up with.

     

    I had a girls night with my mom and sister the other night and even though the wings didn't agree with me I still had a blast!

    I'm glad you had fun!  While I don't necessarily believe in psychics' abilities, I don't doubt the entertainment value.  And if they happened to say things that were true for you, all the better.  I think about it like this:  I pay to go to a movie, and I am fully aware that it is fiction... however I still have fun and enjoy myself if it is a good movie.  I would assume the same is true if you have a good experience with a "psychic" :)  Happy Friday!

    i have shared this story before but...

    i had a woman approach me once and tell me she was a psychic. she said there were some things she thought i should know. during this brief encounter she told me i would be "the opposite of my mom." when i pressed her to elaborate she said she saw me having a son, followed by two girls. i am the oldest with younger brothers, obviously. it was all very odd. i always wanted 4 kids and my husband refuses so that would fit the three kid scenario. i feel like this baby is a boy, too.

    my doctor assures me that they aren't born with horns. And unicorns can't hurt me because they puke rainbows and poop glitter. Nothing that sparkly could ever hurt someone, you know?

    I don't believe in psychics either, but if she had a good time who is anyone else to say that she shouldn't.

    My grandmother was always so very wise: "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all."
