This outfit is so beautiful and cute and totally goes with my vintage tea party theme TO THE "T"!

The only thing that sucks is that it isn't like most "birthday" outfits....it doesn't have a cupcake or a BIG #1 on it. I feel like I need to have something like that but in reality DD couldn't wear it too many times after the party if she had a shirt that said, Birthday Girl! on it kwim?
I am wondering if this is too casual? I have looked at really fancy tutu dresses and lace rompers. I think I would be so stressed that DD is crawling in it or eating cake in it or what so I am just not completely 100% sold on the whole birthday must have outfit.
Maybe I can add a cute birthday hat to it but I honestly don't think she will wear it that long at all (the hat I mean). That's why I want to make my vintage birthday hat so that I don't spend a lot of money on it for her to not even wear it.
Re: Thinking about buying this for DD's birthday outfit
Oh it suits your theme perfectly!! I love it.
I saw this site and they have some cute stuff. This tea stand made me think of your vintage theme https://shopsweetlulu.bigcartel.com/product/tea-party-cake-stand
I think it is adorable. It reminds me of the beautiful dresses and outfits my mom made for us. She is really talented. That is the only bummer about having a little boy, she can't make the sweet girly outfits.
I don't think you need anything that says birthday girl. I never even thought about doing that, everybody knows it is her birthday.
I think it's perfect. It's so cute!
FWIW, we aren't doing a 1st birthday shirt or anything like that. I found a really cute dress a few months ago and went ahead and bought it. It's pink and has lots of ruffles, I love it. It will be perfect for DD's garden party theme.
