So Attached to BFing

I love BFing DS.  I feel so close to him like it such a special time for us.  This is especially true now that I'm back at work 3 days/week.  I'm not planning on stopping anytime soon, but I get so sad when I think about not having that with him anymore.  And I get even more sad when I think about my supply getting lower (I already have to supplement, seriously tried everything to get supply up but DS wasn't gaining weight) and being forced to stop before we're ready.  Anyone else feel the same way?

I am going to stop BF'ing at 6 months and it makes me so sad to even think about it.  Right now we are having the hardest time getting DD to take 1 bottle a day, she just screams and cries because all she wants is me.  It breaks my heart.  I know the transition is going to be rough on us.

I am also attached to BFing. ?I have been pumping just to have some on hand "just in case" we need it (I'm a SAHM but will do special projects for my old company when needed). ?The first bottle we gave to DS made me cry for 2 days. ?I was happy that he took it, I felt like I accomplished something but after that I felt really sad... ?That is our special thing! ?I've since given him 2 additional bottles and both times, I worry about my supply (which so far is very high) and also about him not wanting my nipple since the bottle is so much easier for him. ?

I can't imagine stopping completely, I feel your pain. ?It must be very hard! ?Could you pump to get your supply up enough to nurse him a couple times a day??

I actually do have anough to be able to BF him in the morning and then twice at night.  And I'm able to pump one bottle's worth total while I'm at work.  So during the day he gets one BM bottle and the rest formula until I get home.  I just look so forward to being with him and feeding him myself.
