I'm going between getting her a water table or doing something like DnD posted. She loves water, so I'm leaning more towards that and it's something she can use outside (with Libby) during the summer.
We're going to get her a swing for the yard. Unfortunately, when we had our tree trimmed in the back, they cut off the best branch to hang the swing on. I'll either need it to be on a REALLY long rope, or we'll have to hang it in the front yard.
There are a lot of similar swings in front yards in our neighborhood though, and our street is really quiet, so I'm not too worried about hanging it in front, we'll see.
My parents are getting him a water table - he is going to love it.
I can't get it to PIP - but we got this on clearance for $20 at our Target - Bryce loves little people sets so we are hoping he love this too. He was already talking to the box when he saw it and smiling :-). We have some summer clothes and pj's we are wrapping up too.
My mom got this for Julia for Christmas, she got it at Target (and yes, they have it in less girly colors.) It's great for her toys. We have a constant cycle of me putting everything in and her pulling it all out. It keeps her occupied and organizes all her stuff.
And maybe a water table or something. I haven't decided yet. I wanted to get her an heirloom-type thing because I know she'll be getting a lot of toys and clothes from everyone else.
Evelyn (3.24.10), Graham (5.30.13) & Miles (8.28.16)
We got this for DD for Christmas. Greatest toy ever. We even love to play with it. And her 4 year old cousin does too so we know it will last a long time.
We got DD this & an Anywhere Chair for Christmas. She is in love with both.
Where is everyone getting this block thing? How big is it, and how much does it cost??
I found it on Amazon but my local Target had one so I picked it up there. It was $50. It's about 18" tall. When DD stands up next to it, she can easily play with all the stuff on top and sit on the floor to play with the stuff on the sides.

She got a PBK Chair which she opened way early. That's it. She has so much stuff as it is and we contribute $ to her savings weekly, so I think that's plenty.
