Cloth Diapering

Wool: What Am I Doing Wrong?

My freshly lanolized wool (used and previously lanolized) doesn't contain wetness AT ALL. As soon as my GMs are wet, the wool is too, and so is her swaddling cloth. Is it compression?

But unless the baby is standing, there is compression SOMEWHERE, right?

I lanolized good (I thought) -- I put a lot more lanolin in than the instructions even say, because I was lanolizing two soakers and a longie.

What am I doing wrong?

  • I'm not sure, but I know I get better lanolizing results when I do 1 at a time.

This. I did more than on thing at a time this weekend and ended up lanoliizing a few things again today. I also turned everything inside out. Not sure if that makes a difference or not!
