I have been trying to get into dental hygiene school for 3 years and I finally got accepted! It's a very intense two year program & only 20 students are accepted every year. I'm very excited about it but now I'm nervous about going through the program with two young kids and I'm 33 and want to have another baby soon.
I already have a job offer at the dental office where I use to work and they will hire me to work 3 days a week making $550 a day once I graduated and pass my boards. I loved working there and the money would be great but if I go to school for 2 years and then work a year or two before TTC I'll be 38 or 39 before having another baby & I really don't want to be that old (no offense to the older moms out there, I just don't think I could handle it.)
Uggh, why couldn't this opportunity have come along a few years ago? What would you do? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Re: I have a dilemma..
Decisions like these are never easy, but you will find the right path.
If it were me, I'd go to school. But, you can't base your decision on what anyone else would do.

I thought about that but I had a really hard pregnancy with my LO, I was on bed rest for 2 months and spent the last month on hospital bed rest. If that happened again I would have to drop out of school and I would lose all the work I put into it and would have to start all over.
