RP from Infertility: thoughts?

Hi ladies,

This is such a dumb thing for me to do, but I did it and now of course I keep thinking what if it's real?  So, I took an ovidrel trigger shot Sunday the 6th at 8 pm.  I had my IUI that Monday at 9:30 am.  I was supposed to wait until the 22nd to test and of course, I'm such a loser.... I bought the stupid sticks today since we're going out of town this weekend.  I couldn't wait and of course was curious so I took a digital and "pregnant" popped up.

This is totally the trigger still right?  Ahh, I wish I had just left the dumb thing in the box.   

What do you think?!  I'm such a wreck... I've posted this on infertility and TTTC, but would like your thoughts as well if any of you have tested early.

Trigger might be out of your system now. I know it sucks but it is wait and see hell!

Unfortunately, this is a situation where only time will tell.  It has been 10 days, so most times the trigger should be out of your system (especially with Ovidrel and not a straight HCG trigger like you would do with IVF).  I think that this is encouraging!

Try again when you get back from your trip and then you'll know the answer!

I always tested out my trigger and it was usually gone by 8-9 days after the shot.  With all my BFPs, I got true positives around 11dpo.

I've only done IVF but my trigger was always gone after 8 days. 

You're just going to have to test every day now.

Coming from someone who took a million pregnancy tests...Buy more and keep peeing!  Sounds promising though!  Good luck!

I never tested before 10dpiui (so 11-12 days after trigger) and the two times I was pregnant I got a BFP that day. Sounds promising, but it is one of those wait and see things. Good luck, keep testing!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you can reasonably hope for the best here. Digitals are habitual for being not very sensitive and it wouldn't pick up the last little bit of trigger at this point. Either way, hope and positivity are powerful things. Consider yourself pregnant until proven otherwise.

I think I agree 100% with reems, here! pregnant until proven otherwise. 

I have tested out 20 triggers, and only twice was the trigger still in my system after 7 days. For both IVFs, I tested my trigger out before transfer ( 5 days) and it was gone. 

 This sounds like a very good thing to me!
