If You Own Trumpette Socks - Be Careful!

Today I took DD to the mall. She was in the stroller and I looked down and saw her take her sock off and put it in her mouth. I grabbed the sock out of her mouth and all of a sudden she started to gag. I put my finger in her mouth and fished out the bow that was sewn on the sock. This all happened in a matter of seconds. For those that have the Trumpette socks with the bows sewn on the toes, please be careful when you put them on your DD. This scared the sh!t out of me and when I got home, I cut off all of the bows on her Trumpette socks.

I would have never thought about them either. I can't believe how easy/fast they came off.

How scary!  I am glad she is ok.  It's scary just thinking about how many little things like that we never think about til it happens!

Scary! Thanks for the warning. We have a ton of them and just today I caught DD crawling around with her sock in her mouth. I will have to cut alll of her bows off as well.

We have a ton as well. I just bought her 3 new boxes of Trumpette socks for Christmas.
