Totally curious - what do you pay if you don't mind me asking? I have no clue what this even costs and I don't think I'm serious enough about doing it to call & get an estimate.
So, what do you pay and what do you get for that price?
(lurking) I pay $100 every two weeks. She is here 4 hours and cleans 3000 square feet. She does laundry (sheets and towels and my husbands clothes), bathrooms, floors, dusts, dishes. I love when she comes!
She doesn't do our clothes, but she washes and dries the sheets she takes off the bed, folds them and puts them in the linen closet. She mops all floors, dusts all furniture, cleans the ceiling fans, wipes all counters, appliances, vacs all floors (including stairs) and other stuff I'm probably forgetting. We typically don't have dishes for her to do, but if they are in the sink she'll wash, dry and put them away.
I don't do this but I priced it over the summer. For two women to come to my house (they were a private service but fully bonded and insured) every two weeks it was $75 (1750 sq ft).
We poay $80 every two weeks. It's usually a team of two people. They just clean (no laundry or dishes). They are worth every penny. If I could have them every week, I would.
Re: If you use a cleaning service...
2014 square feet, $90 every two weeks
