Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Whaa, no UOs today?

Bueller, Bueller

Hmm.  I was never a fan of Enrique Iglesias back in the day, but I have to admit that I'm enjoying his new stuff.

I don't like the ones with flowers/bows as big as the poor kids head. But I do put headbands on my little girl when she's dressed for church or for pictures, special occassions, etc. People constantly think she's a boy no matter how I dress her, unless she's wearing a headband.

This is probably a popular opinion.  My DS east WAAAAAY better than I do.  If I ate like him I'd probably drop all the weight I'm *trying* to lose.

Do people seriously worry about this? Who cares? I would be happy so I could just throw one party and save money if a second LO would have a bday close to Bri

LOL I think its different when you have twins. I would prefer if my next LO was born in a month other than Corri's birth month, simply because its damn expensive to do parties in this area and I would love some monetary downtime. I do think its stupid when they don't want them to share a birth month so they can each have their "own" birth month...give me a break, your birthday is ONE day, not 30!

Did someone say your kids can't share a birth month?

I think it's ridiculous to worry about someone else's TTC timing and to think it's somehow a commentary on your kids' lives.

I waited 4 years to TTC a second because I didn't want kids close in age - does that mean your kids are screwed somehow too?

I agree, but all the good sh#t starting discussions have been done to death!

Having said that here's mine. I hate lady gaga! i think she is nothing but a camera hor who does the most extreme things so that no one will notice she actually dosen't sing that good :/

DnD - I couldn't agree more....all this kumbaya stuff is nice and all, but very boring.

Spencers - I disagree to a point.  I like dancing/working out to her songs, but I think the way she has marketed herself is brilliant.  She has a large and loyal following of fans, she in turn is loyal to them, and she is so extreme in some of her performance/costume choices that people focus on that rather than on her personal/private life, which is usually what everyone wants to get into with celebrities.

Hell, she may not have the best voice, but she is entertaining.  And she's loaded, so from a monetary standpoint, she's doing something right.

My UO - I think it's sketchy when a guy doesn't wear a wedding ring because he "doesn't like jewelry".  I know there might be some cultures where rings aren't exchanged or whatever, but I think it's shady if the guy just has a personal issue with wearing a ring.

**Disclaimer - I have no facts to back up my opinion (i.e., guys that don't wear rings cheat more than guys who don't), I just personally find it shady.

Many picky kids do it for control. They can control for sure what goes into their bodies and how it comes out. We have a super healthy diet and DS has been exposed to many many foods. And yet all I can really get him to eat is steak, chicken, canned green beans, tofu dogs, apples and bannanas. It was really bad a year ago when he wouldn't eat anything but bannans and chicken. It's gotten better but he's still picky. Sometimes it's not even what he eats, it's how it's prepared. He'll freak if there's milk on his cereal, ketchup on his plate, sauce on his noodles, or if his food is cut.

  • My UO: I like hip hop and rap, a lot. I like lady gaga (i think she is more hip hop than pop), Niki Monaj, Trey Songz, Jay Z, Kanye West Surprise and all of the sorts that most don't like. They are not cookie cutters like the rest of the genres. They also get the biggest stereotype and it's also for the people who listen to them.

I also like tons of other music, but I listen to this most of the time.
