AF came back at 8 weeks PP. (I was unable to breastfeed so DS has been EFF since the start.) I started my BCP's then and had been taking them with no problems. No missing pills or taking them late. I've been on the same pills for years. Last month I got what seemed like two periods, one two weeks into my cycle and the other at normal time. This month it is happening again. I just had an u/s to check for cysts, fibroids, and basically anything else that could be the cuplrit.
Anyway, I'm just nervous that the doc is going to come back with bad news. My family has a history of problems involving the uterus and my sister has ovarian cancer. I'm most worried that something could be wrong that would cause me to be unable to have more children. If you read all this, thank you for listening to my vent of sorts, and if anyone has dealt with anything similar I'd love some insight.
Re: Fibroids/Cysts/Bleeding and other fun things. Sigh. Please help diagnose me.
have they said anything about endometriosis? i have that plus i've had a million cysts, some have ruptured. i've had prob 6 or so surgeries for either endo or for cysts. anyways, what i'm trying to say is i was able to get pregnant despite being told i probably wouldn't be able to. so there is hope
i hope you get good results from the doc!
Yup, that is another possibility. I have to get bloodwork done and just got the u/s yesterday so I haven't heard what the ob thinks yet.
Thank you!
I had a similar thing happen when I went on the pill - the doc determined it was related to the hormones in the pill (loesterine), put me on another one and I was fine. I also have fibroids tho, and have been told it can cause heavier periods and can cause bleeding in between.
I hope it's not anything serious for you!! GL.
Thank you!
Thank you, good thoughts coming your way too!

I had simmilar bleeding accompanied by pain and an enlarged uterus. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis and PCOS in 2009 after an u/s and a diagnostic laproscopy w/ biopsy. I was still able to get pregnant one more time but ended up needing a hysterectomy when DD was 7 weeks old.
