butting in to say that I've been thinking of you too!! (and if you need a book to keep your mind off of things, I have been speedreading through the Fever series by Karen Moning this week...easy reads, supernatural, fun!)
Everything went great, thanks for checking! We got there at 5:30, surgery was at 7 and we were home by 8:30. He was so cute when they gave him the sedative before surgery, all drunk and loopy, haha. After surgery when he woke up he was SUPER upset and cranky but was fine by the time we left and has been all morning, and he was his normal self by about 10 am. No more sleepy than usual despite waking up 3 hours early and being given a narcotic - that's my boy! In fact, DH went to take him to Target, he fell asleep 5 minutes into the car ride so they came back, foolishly thinking he'd take a nice long nap, and he woke up as soon as I tried to take him out of the car. Usual tricks, haha. Hoping this helps though, even though he's been on his 4th course of antibiotics in 2 months for a week now, the doc said he had a TON of fluid behind his ears that needed to be drained.
