Since I know a few of you but don't know alot of you - have you talked to your DH or SO about when you would like to TTC your next child?  What is your reasoning?

We have decided December 2011/January 2012 is most likely when we will start trying again for our 2nd child.  This gives me the chance to lose a bunch of weight due to health reasoning and gives us the chance to let Hudson be the baby for a bit longer.  We are also hoping DH finds a better paying job so I can become a SAHM.

We haven't set an exact time but we would like 2-3 years in between DS and the next child. We want them to be close in age but not too close. I would prefer DS out of diapers before i have the next one.

We start again this summer!  We want them close and we want 2 more (we think! haha).  If all goes well Riley will be right around 2 when the 2nd comes along.

i'm not 100% sure if we will have a second child, just because pregnancy was so awful (my m/s was so bad i threw up all day at work the entire pregnancy, and just went to bed at like 3:30 every day because i didn't want to be awake and sick).

*if* we do try for another, we will probably try to space them about 3 years apart. i'd like riley in preschool before we have another child in daycare, it would just be too expensive!

Pretty much this.  We haven't discussed it in detail.  Although when DD gets up 4 times a night or whines constantly, I still consider being one and done, lol.  I would also like to lose about 40lbs before getting pregnant again.

ASAP!! LO will be one in April and we'd love to try right around then, but unfortunately I'll have my gallbladder removed in June so we need to wait until then. The surgeon said, well we can take the gallbladder out while you're pregnant, but it's easier if we get it out before you put the baby in!

If it were up to me I'd be KU already But we need to wait for DH to find a job so we can move. We need to be at least in the process of looking for a house before we can start trying...hopefully by this summer!

This and DH wants the kids to be 2 years apart because that is what he had with his siblings. Honestly, I am a little scared to have an infant and a toddler going through the terrible twos, but I am sure it will be wonderful!

We will be waiting between 3 years and never. We just aren't ready now, and my delivery went really bad. So we're just winging it.

Ideally, we would like DS to be 2 1/2-almost 3 when #2 is born.  So we will probably start TTC in May or June 2012.

I think we're the same (I was too lazy to do the math so I just quoted).  We'll likley house hunt while KU with #2 (just to be sure it's not multiple) and then stop at 2 or 3 depending on the number of rooms in our next home.

We have not set an exact time to TTC. We just, well more I, decided we would have another one. I would be happy not having anymore but I really want DS2 to have a sibling close to his age. I want Eli to be the "baby" for a little longer. I don't want two in diapers. So I'm thinking once Eli is two we will TTC that way he should be around three once the last LO arrives.

Neither of us want to have another child.  DH is going to get a vasectomy sometime this year.  Pregnancy was easy for me, I just don't want to do it again.  For the time being, we are both happy with just one.

DH and I just discussed this!!  Initially we were going to TTC this fall (so there would be a little over 2 years between LOs)... but we are just LOVING giving DS all of our attention right now, and DH and I are planning a trip to the Caribbean for a long weekend next February.... so we will "stop avoiding" around DS' 2nd birthday.... Spring/Summer 2012...

We've set a tentative time of when Liam is 18 months (October 2011) as the earliest to TTC #2.  My brother and I are 16 years apart and DH and his sister are 16 months apart so we decided that we wanted ours close together but not 2u2.  Plus, riht now we want 3 or 4 kids and I want to be done with pregnancy by the time I'm 33 or 34 years old.

We're still undecided about a third. But we won't start talking about it seriously until DD2 is closer to 18 months, I think. 

We've already had discussions from time to time, and we both go back and forth on it.

We're somewhere between being one and done and trying sometime after February 2012.

We're loving our time with DD and can't imagine that time being taken up by another LO, but at the same time don't see us having an only child. So, we'll see.

It depends on my job situation. If I get a teaching job in the fall, we'll wait. Not ideal, because we want them 2-3 years apart, but I have to do what I have to do. If I don't get a job, we're going to try the beginning of next year (I think).

I *think* we're done, but part of me would love to have another baby when the twins are 4 or 5. I think if we did decide to have another though, we would not be doing fertility treatments again - it was just too stressful and difficult.

Thanks!  Not yet, DH said he is picking up a test today, so I'll POAS when I get home from cake decorating.  Knowing my luck, I'll have gone from getting AF 2x a month to getting it every 2 months

We are due 9/2/2011.  We want to have 2 children and as quickly as possible.  As soon as I was cleared to TTC, we tried- pregnant the 1st month!  (surprise!)  I am in my late 30's and DH is 40, so we don't want to be too old when our kids are in high school!

We will probably start TTC in the fall.  DH wants to start now, but I need to be able to get another full year of teaching in.  I am looking for a job in a new district in the fall and would feel bad not completing my first year.  I am also trying very hard to get vested in my state, before staying home for a few years.  I need 1 year and 102 days, so I will not be heartbroken if it takes a little while again because it will bring me that much closer to SAH for a longer period.

I'm in grad school right now so there is no freaking way we are going to have another one until I am done (next May!).  After that, it'll depend upon the job situation.  We could swing two in daycare but things would be very tight.  Plus we want to move to a better school district before DD goes to preschool.  I always wanted my kids to be three years apart but so possibly next Spring but it really just depends where we are at that point.

We are currently seeing our fertility doctor and (hopefully) starting next month/cycle. I go in for a test (HSG) next friday to make sure everything looks ok in there and if so we're a go for March

Our reasoning is that since we're using IUI it may not happen immediately again, but we want the kids close together in age so we're starting then.

We are one and done. After TTC for three years we did IVF and it worked. We have no embryos in storage. I am diabetic and turning 38 this year. Unless we adopt in a year or two we are just going to be a family of three.

We are very happy with just one- so I think I am done. But hey, that could always change!

We'd like to start trying late this fall or early winter. So around October-December.

We had a baby, moved and bought a house all at once, so our savings account was drained. When we get a little "nest egg" back, we'll start TTC.

Thanks, Avid.  I haven't POAS yet.  I've been spotting the past three days and that pretty much killed any desire to test.  I'm going to wait it out and see if the spotting turns into full-blown AF.  AF is officially due tomorrow.  If she doesn't show up by Saturday, then I'll think about POAS, though if the spotting is still around, I might put it off even longer than that.  I'm setting my final POAS "deadline" at 19 dpo (1 week from now).

We will be TTC for #2 pretty close to when you plan to start, Avid.  Maybe more towards Feb/March- but who knows- we might be on the Tri boards together again ;-)

We are trying now! We tried this month and failed miserably - we only got to really try once and then AF came early - but we are going to try again starting next week. Our reasoning is that we want to have all of our 3 planned kids by the time I am 30, and also I would like to have 2 kids born and older than newborn stage when my DH finishes his master so I am not moving pregnant or with a newborn. I also really like my Dr here so it will be nice to use them for 2 kids (if not the 3 we plan for).
