OB prices&recommendations?

Hi!I'm Canadian and I'm moving to Dearborn and I'm pregnant. seeing how I have to wait 3 months for my husband's company coverage to kick in, I'll have to pay for the OB bills myself. can anyone tell me how much a check up visit costs?a sonogram? blood tests? Anyone can recommend a OB?

HELP PLEASE!!

Any chance you can continue to see your current OB in Canada until your husband's insurance kicks in here?

Not sure how much everything runs, but I go to Dearborn OBYN on Michigan Ave in Dearborn and really like them there.  I am sure you could call and see what their charges are, and if they do any discount if you pay upfront or something.

as a Canadian citizen i think that you can still see a dr in Canada, (i know someone who did this after marrying and moving to MI) maybe in Windsor if your Dr is to far away? If not I know that after my first 2 appointment my dr is not billing me for anything until AFTER the baby is born. I am not that close to Dearborn so I wouldn't recommend driving to my Dr, even though they deliver out of Royal Oak Beaumont.... GL!
