i'm pretty sure we could read "brown bear brown bear what do you see?" to riley for hours ... and she would never get sick of it. but when we switch books, she crawls away
This one called The Very Mixed Up Princess...Each page is cut into 1/3 so you can do different combos of her head, mid section, and skirt. Each opposing 1/3page says something about it so you can mix up the story. I don't think she even gets that part of it yet, but she LOVES the book anyway!

I act out what they are saying.. so when it says " I love your top side", I pat his head... when it says "I love your giggles", I giggle.. etc etc etc he LOVES IT
Mine is usually too busy to sit down and listen to me read, but he LOVES to look at this little picture board book I got him at Old Navy called "Rocker Babies wear Jeans". It is so cute. Every night at bedtime, we read "God Knows All About Me" and he will listen to it and wants to turn the pages. Its a sing song style of writing, so I think thats what holds his interest.

I wish he was obsessed with books! He just got over the phase of trying to eat them!
He loves the Veggie Tales book 'Oh Where's My Ducky' right now - we'll ask him to "find the ducky!" and he'll put his hand on it and/or point to it with his little finger!
My son is in love with a Sesame Street book titled, "Baby Faces". Each page has a phrase on it like "Boo boo" or "Goo Goo". At the end is a mirror. I have read it so many times I don't have to look at the pages to read it.
Goodnight Moon, bahhhhh. I have it memorized lol. We started it as part of her bedtime routine and now she fusses if it's anything other than Goodnight Moon.
Sophia has 3 lift-the-flap peekaboo books. They all have pictures of real animals under the flap. She loves to lift the flap and feel the texture of all the animals. We make all the animal sounds too. She gets so excited. We literally read them all day long

The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's the only one she'll sit through without trying to grab the book or turn the pages. Lately, her new thing is to pick up the book, drop it in front of me, and just stare at me until I read it to her. Her second favorite is "The Color Kittens" but she gets bored about halfway through.

"Llama Llama Red Pajama" is our favorite bed time book.
For daytime, I can't read anything...but he likes the ones that just show pictures of ABCs and colors and numbers...I don't know what they're called, but there's no way he's sitting still long enough for me to read a book unless he's sick or ready to go to bed.
Re: what book is your LO obsessed with?
I love you through and through...

yes! that's the only other one she'll kinda sit down for. that and 5 little lady bugs.
g is also obsessed with "brown bear". i think it's because i sing it. lol.
she also loves "look at baby", but it's only because she's obsessed with looking at herself.
He "reads" this every day, all day. It's interactive, and he's always looking through it.
Five Little Ladybugs (though I heard there is an updated version with ten, lol - the drawings are beautiful)
