Bleaching bgs

Is bleach ok for the shells? I've bleached the inserts before, but the shells stink a little, so I want to try a little bleach before I strip!

I bleached mine and didn't have any problems, although I don't think you are really *supposed* to use bleach on them ;-)

I bleach my bgs (inserts and shells) once a month and have had no problem and no more smells just remember the extra rinse, cottonbabies recommends bleaching monthly.

Nope, regular bleach. I was skeptical and scared to add it into my wash, but I've done it a few times with no ill effects, doesn't ruin the colors on the shells

How much? I've never used bleach in a wash.
