I was diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypertension today and I have to go see a cardiologist tomorrow Sad At all my appointments my blood pressure has been running a little high (diastolic in the 90's) and at my last one they found a little protein in my urine so I have been a little nervous! Before pregnancy I always had trouble with anxiety (but never my bp) and my heart racing but it seems to be happening more now. I took my bp at work last night out of curiosity and it was 140/97 Tongue Tied

Has anyone else been diagnosed with this yet?

    I haven't been diagnosed with PIH yet, but my Dr.is planning to take me out of work at 20 weeks to be on bedrest, I have already seen the cardiologist and I am taking bp medication (labetalol). I monitor my bp twice a day and so far its been okay. Not great, but okay. At my last appointment my bp was 140/80. No protein in my urine. I am taking it one day at a time. Try not to get too nervous and know you are not alone.

    Thank you so much, it's so easy to get so nervous which just makes the situation worse then really haha
