Anyone from Orange?

Hello :) I am going to be moving to Orange soon and two of my DD's will be going to school. I wanted to know your thoughts on the schools? Elementary and middle.

    I really only know the middle schools.  Yorba and Santiago Middle Schools are great schools.  Would NOT send your kids to Portolla Middle School.  I have heard not to many good things about that school.

    Hi! I went to Serrano Elementary. Serrano and Villa park Elementary are the best ones out of the OUSD. I also went to Cerro Villa Middle School and El Rancho. El Rancho has turned into a year around Charter School. So I would make the extra drive there later if you can. It was also less of a "bad crowd" the Cerro Villa. Cerro Villa gets some of the ghetto, but most of the good area. I just seemed to encounter more bullying, bad behavior at Cerro Villa rather than El Rancho. I also went to Villa Park and Canyon HS. Both are great schools and pretty much the same. I would just watch out for the middle school transition later on.
