Can I bleach baby clothes? How do u wash them?

Hi,

some of dd's clothes are so stained with milk and (red) mylicon drops that if I wash them regularly the stain does not go away. Can I bleach them? And how do you wash them? I use oxyclean spray and dreft in warm water gentle cycle.

TIA

  • I don't know if bleaching them will work. Some clothes actually fall apart when washed with bleach, so make sure you check the tag. It may be too late to do anything about it.

They have red mylicon? Our mylicon drops are white. You should check into that. I also use only dye free Tylenol and Motrin, so we don't have issues with that.

As far as milk or formula, we spray DD's clothes with Oxyclean Spray and then wash them in cold water (delicate cycle) with powder Oxyclean. We haven't had any issues with stains even with DD on solids now.

  • I'm not sure about the medicine stains, but the milk stains may come out if you leave the clothes in the sun for a while.
