I'm not one for gossip but.....

I was lurking on the parenting board and a post (sexual assault DD on school bus) caught my attention. It was a f/u to this previous post: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/49155078.aspx (sorry if it's not clicky).

I never responded b/c first of all I'm not really a poster on that board and secondly it seemed like everyone had made all suggestions I would have had.

So anyway the sexual assault... post: https://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/2/49295134/ShowThread.aspx it seems as though now a lot of people don't believe her. I think this is very sad if it is true and if it's MUD I'm wondering what is the purpose of it? Do ppl that do this have that little going on IRL that they have to play with other's emotions. What do you think?

    Whatever it was, it was DDed.

    What is the purpose of MUD? I think for the AEs (or someone who just stumbled on TB and decided to play), it makes them laugh. Stirring the pot is fun for them on the internet, as well as in real life. They want to feel noticed and important. AEs and MUD seem to always get the highest views at first because you've got regulars trying to figure out if it's MUD or not, and if it's an AE, who it could possibly be.

    But, the interest wears off and the AEs ususally GBCB anyway.
