Thanks for responding to my questions regarding the breathing stuff. DH and I are going to make another appt. for Hadley tomorrow morning. I'd rather be safe than sorry.
How long were you in the hospital with Jax? I didn't know it peaks around day 7. We're a couple of days away from that. I really hope her levels are better tomorrow.
Kids are so dang resilient! Besides the cough, wheezy chest and wanting to be held more, you'd never know she was sick.
What is Jax on currently to help with everything? Are you still doing breathing treatments at home?
Re: ***peachykate***
No problem, when we took him last Monday my head was literally spinning when she said we were no where near the peak of it! We ended up staying in the hospital for four days. He is on albuterol, pulimcort, and an antibiotic for the pneumonia just in case it was not caused by the RSV. In the hospital he was also given an oral steroid.
We are still doing the pulmicort twice a day and are starting to spread the albuterol to every five hours during the day and nothing at night if he stays asleep. If he wakes up we do the albuterol.
It is amazing how resilient they are. Everyone commented in the hospital about how happy he was for being sick. Dh and I looked like we were ran over by a truck and Jax still had a smile and rosy cheeks. The only thing about him that was different was that he lost a half a pound and still hasn't gained it back.
I hope her appointment went well this morning!
Daycare is SO exhausting!

Ugh...scary stuff! We go to the doctor in an hour. She seemed almost worst this morning. Her little chest was working so hard to breath and her cough sounded worse. She's also been puking up a lot of mucous too. I feel so badly for her!
