He just bit me really hard in the leg (left teeth marks), so I put him in his crib. Not exactly the punishment I want because I don't want him to equate his crib with doing something bad. What do you do?
I had issues with biting while nursing. He would intentionally bite me and when I yelled out in surprise and pain the first time he thought it was funny! Each time after that he would bite and look up and smile...
I just started saying "no biting" and would extract myself and stop nursing. He'd naturally get upset and I would wait 5 to 10 minutes to nurse again. This went on for about 5 days and then he just stopped..
I'm not sure how just regular biting and biting while nursing differ but maybe you could adapt that method if possible?
