Update from Nolan's ENT

He has to have a second set of tubes put in, adenoids removed, and tonsils. They scheduled us for Friday...... I am ready to get it over with, but a little nervous. I know it is routine, but there is nothing routine for me about it KWIM?

I know that surgery stinks. But he will be soo much better after it! My brother and my gfs daughter had them removed and they never get sick any more, when they were sick ALL the time before. Recovery wasn't too bad for either of them. I was actually sick last week and my doc suggested I get my tonsils out cause they were so huge..not sure of I am at this point though. Hopefully Nolan will recover quick!

Poor Nolan! I hope he recovers quickly. I had my tonsils out at age 4 (I have a few vague memories of it) and I wasn't as sick as I had been before that. Lets hope it helps him as well.

Mine came out at 22, and I have  heard that he will have an easier time than I did! At least I pray he does.

Hopefully all of this will help him substantially and he will be sick alot less!

Crap! Sorry you guys have to go through that this week, but I hope he has great experience. 90% of the kiddos in same day surgery yesterday were there for some combo of all those things and all seemed to be in and out and recovering well. Good luck!
