My cousin just had her first child and as the doctor announced the sex her and her husband just stared in shock! They both really thought they were having a boy. Called it Junior and everything. hahahah

That's a great story!  I have a friend who had her 5th child a year ago.  Her first four are boys.  So of course she just assumed she and her husband make boys and number five was going to be a boy too!  She said when they told her it was a girl she just thought, "I don't know what to do with a girl!" lol

True story, i know its awful. A friend of mine growing up was the oldest of 4 boys. When his mom had the 5th child, and it was a girl, his father had a heart attack and died. Literally. It was so sad.

I think that will be us.  We're both so sure it's a boy, and plan to not find out.  A girl will SHOCK us.  I try to prepare, and think really seriously about how baby absolutely could be a girl...but then I just think - no way, totally know it's a boy.  haha.  I can't imagine.

This isn't a team green story but funny nonetheless. A couple on A Baby Story were told they were having two boys...the babies came out and they were two girls!

lol! I think that's how we would be! We're both convinced its a girl so if they say boy, we'll ask them to check again!

When the doctor held up DD for me to see the first words out of my mouth were "it's a boy!" then she told me to try again.
In my defense everyone thought I was having a boy, and since she was a preemie and didn't have any body fat her "lips" were giant compared to the rest of her body and the cord was in the way. She really looked like a boy in my drug induced state

When I was about 6, my uncle and his wife (mom's older bro) were expecting their first. They were Team Green, and REFUSED to accept any of the girl clothes my mom had set aside (I also have a sister) b/c they were POSITIVE it was a boy. They only thought of boy names, bought blue stuff, etc. Well...baby had a vag. Emma didn't have a name for 2 days lol, and they finally took those clothes from my mom.

That is pretty funny and what a great story to share.. though I am sure your DD will be mortified as she gets older if you break that one out

My mom was told I was going to be a boy.  Since she already had 2 boys she was pretty prepared.  Well needless to say when I was born, they announced Girl and mom was shocked!

DH and I had the same shock when we had DS.  Everyone guessed girl and anyone and everyone that gave a guess about what I was having said girl.  I was totally shocked when they told us we had a son!  It was awesome!
