How was your VD?

Mine was nice but I was annoyed because my SIL called 3 times! I feel bad because she just got laid off but why did she have to fill out her online unemployment benefits last night at 10:00 pm?  She kept calling my husband asking him what to put where.

DH was SO sick... went to the ER twice and Urgent care once... Took Isaiah out so he wouldn't be cooped up with sick DH so Isaiah was my date and I brought home sushi for me, soup for DH for our Vday dinner!

eh... DH is out of town and DD had a dr's appointment. Nothing too exciting.

is it bad that when I saw VD, I thought venerial disease, not Valentine's Day?

Mine was nothing to write home about. Had to work, got home and SO had to go to a meeting. LO and I had leftover spaghetti and played with his gifts from Grandma.

good. we ordered pizza and dh cleaned the house for me, twas nice. i also had some vodka and my head hurts a little now.

It was good, I made a nice dinner (chicken parmesean, I even made my own sauce). DH and I spent a nice evening alone since DD was already in bed by the time he got home.

Oh and he sent roses to both DD and I yesterday, it was really sweet.

Kind of crazed. I was running around last-minute picking things up b/c our weekend was nuts and I didn't get all my shopping done; trying to make a chocolate cream pie and realized that we were out of eggs, and just generally trying to squeeze a lot into a little amount of time. 

Plus, DD2 had an up-the-back poopsplosion while we were opening presents and promptly needed a bath. Sort of ruined the moment.

After I went to my workout class, DH and I opened a bottle of wine and watched Dexter. Ahhh, serial killers + Valentines Day, the perfect pairing.  

My pie never did get done in time b/c it needed to chill way longer than I thought, so we will be having fancy dessert tonight.

Our Vday was nice!  Dh made me risotto, I made chocolate covered strawberries, and we shared a bottle of wine.  And we watched American Pickers

Oh- and Dh brought me home a really sweet card and a box of Swedish Fish and a bag of Skittles- my favs

DH is out of town, but he did send me peach roses - my favorite! DS and I drove down to VA for dinner with my sister and her fiance. BBQ Chicken, mushroom risotto and broccoli - yummy!

Ours was nice and simple.  LO had a doctor's appointment, then our family exchanged our gifts.  The weather has finally warmed up here so we all went for a walk. I made dinner and LO went to bed a little early so we chilled with a movie.  DH and I had a date Friday night.  He surprised me by making reservations and hiring the babysitter on his own then informing me we were going out. We spent $70 on dinner, which is a ton in our world! I'm a nerd b/c as part of my gift, DH got me these ink pens I love and I was so excited!

We watched it too!  I love that the first one he got wrong was a Harry Potter question!  :P

We had an uber romantic date at Red Robin.  We spent much of the meal trying to get DS to say Yum after we said Red Robin. :P

DH was running errands last night helping to get stuff for DD's horrible diaper rash from antibiotics.  Luckily, we don't really care about V-Day.

haha! yeah it was pretty nice. neither one of us are too big on vday anyways but it was a good evening.

Mine was good. I woke up to my boys wishing me a Happy Valentines. Then when I went to my car there were chocolates, balloons and a card in there. For lunch, Dh picked me up and we went to Stinking Rose for lunch. I had a glass of wine and a giant prime rib - yummy. We went home and played with Ds until he knocked out around 8. Then DH and I had some quality time together.

We don't ever do much for Valentine's Day. However, we did exchange cards, gave DD a card and small gift and DH and I cooked dinner together after DD went to bed. All-in-all it was a nice day!

Mine was nice. I asked DH to call Olive Garden for To-Go. He did at 5:15 and it was to be ready at 5:45. Well at 5:45 he was still fumbling around on his computer. I was getting pissy bc I was hungry. I told him it would take 20 minutes to get there because of traffic. He got back around 6:40, because of Valentine's day traffic. So he bathed LO, and I went put her to bed. I could hear the clinking of the plates in the kitchen. I thought to myself "If he is eating without me I am going to kill him."

So I walk out of LO's room, and there was our dinner set out with lit candles from our wedding!! It was so sweet. I felt bad about what I thought he was doing. We shared the tiramisu in bed.

Great here! We celebrated twice, just because. Sat. night DD slept over her grandparents, and we went out to a nice dinner & to see a friend play some music.

Last night we took DD out to her first hibatchi experience. She loved it! DH bought DD & I roses, cards, and a ton of candy (me only obviously)... I got DH a card & cologne.
